The PSHS-National Competitive Examination is a two-step screening given to all qualified grade school Filipino pupils.
Application forms are available from August to September.
The First Screening in December is a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) which has three sub-tests: Verbal, Non-Verbal and Mathematics.
If you pass that, you're qualified to take the Second Screening in
March. This is the Science and Math Aptitude Test (SMAT) which consists of sub-tests in Science and Mathematics.
The top 240 qualifiers will then be offered scholarships in the
PSHS Diliman Campus, the other qualifiers will be offered scholarships in the appropriate regional campuses.
