Admissions Procedures

First Screening

1) Secure a PSHSS-NCE application form. Application forms are available at this site for download, and at the following offices: PSHS System Office of Admissions, PSHS Campuses, DOST Regional Offices and the DOST-Provincial Science and Technology Centers. The PSHSS-NCE application form is not for sale and no reservation fee is needed in order to qualify. Schools with more than one applicant may reproduce the application forms.

2) Check to see if you meet the selection criteria, as indicated in the form.

3) The application form must be accomplished by the School Principal or his representative on forms provided by the PSHS-FAPS. The application form must be accomplished in duplicate (2 copies). Application forms that are incomplete, with erasures alterations, and insertions that are not properly initialed will not be processed.

4) Submit the requirements, along with the processing fee. Application forms may be filed with the Office of Admissions in PSHS-Diliman, with the PSHS Regional Campuses, the DOST Regional Offices and the Provincial Science and Technology Centers. For provincial applicants, payments should be made in the form of postal money order payable to the PSHS-CASHIER, Diliman Quezon City. Personal and Manager's Check will not be honored. Deadline for submission for 2001-2002 is October 12, 2001.

5) Get your Examination Permit.

6) Be at the testing center on December 15, 2001, either by 7:00 am or 12:30 pm as specified by your Examination Permit. Bring your school I.D., at least two sharpened soft lead pencils (Mongol #2), a good eraser, and snacks. The test starts at exactly 8:00 am, for the morning session, and 1:00 pm for the afternoon session. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the testing rooms after 8:30 am or 1:30 pm.

7) Qualification for the Second Screening will be done by notification through mail. You may also check the results at this location in the future.

Second Screening

1) You will be notified by mail for eligibility to take the Second Screening.

2) If you do not receive your notification slip a week before the Second Screening on March 3, 2001, please inquire from the nearest PSHS Regional Campus or call PSHS System Office of Admissions, Tel. Nos. 924-0614 / 926-5701. Additionally you may inquire from the Office of Admissions email faps@pshs.edu.ph.

3) If you are eligible, follow the directions on the notification slip and take the test on March 3, 2001.

4) You will be notified by mail if you passed the Second Screening. You may also check the results at this location in the future.
